My friend's parents own the cuckoo. There are delicious things for example. Hungarian cheese spaetzle. Because the family comes from Hungary, they serve Hungarian specialties - everything is clean, fresh and delicious. You can also eat outside and there is a playground for smaller children!

I always like to go to this locality. It is comfortably furnished and on sunny days a beautiful outdoor terrace invites you to linger. The staff have always met me friendly and hard-working. The food is also very solid and at a good price. An adjacent forest area can can be used for a leisurely digestive walk.

Ribs are well cooked, but they don't taste like anything, the two sauces with them are rather cheap ... Otherwise very well cared for, nice staff ....

An insider tip for me. For a number of years we have been stopping here on the way to / from the holiday resort. Delicious food, fair prices, not just schnitzel with fries and salad. Small playground for children, shady at the edge of the forest and great for a walk with the dog. And above all: close to the motorway and a free petrol station nearby.

Great to get a table at the edge of the forest with 4 people at short notice. Good chairs (no back problems), tasty food, cool drinks and very friendly service. We will be back.

Very tasty eaten there, very friendly staff, easy to reach by bike from Hildesheim. Absolutely to suggest. Definitely come back.

I can't judge the food, because we went straight back. Booked, but pretended we didn't have it. You were treated like a cattle - so I have never experienced something so unfriendly, so I do not pay for! Actually 0 stars.

Wonderful ambience! You can stand it very well here! Unfortunately the kitchen is so irregular, we have been disappointed but this time it was very good! I hope the kitchen is more constant now!

Just awesome ! We celebrated my mother-in-law's 60th birthday there and sat in the fireplace room. Thanks to Zoli who served us all evening! You did a great job at a 12-man party 👍 of course thanks to the kitchen and the other colleagues it was all right. I will always come back🙂 The food is super delicious, everything fresh and homemade! The cake was a dream 😍 My nephew rated your playground as very good, he didn't want to go home anymore 🏠 The whole place is very clean, cozy and just inviting

I've never been in better restaurant between Harsum and Klein Förste as yet. ;-)

Had luxury currywurst. Delicious. Service Top very accommodating. Including a small dessert a successful evening. We will be back.

Food is normal, nothing great but ok. Giving 3 stars because of the staff. A bit rude and impatient. Customers must be treated the same irrespective of colour of their skin.
